Mars Scout 2 Mission Information

This next generation Mars Scout could take one of many forms - an airplane, balloon or small lander. Scout missions are designed by the science community and will be shaped by discoveries of the current fleet of Mars spacecraft.

The first Mars Scout is Phoenix, which is scheduled to launch for Mars in 2007.
