The three brilliant (and possibly unstable) people behind Slacker Astronomy say, "Because if you aren't going to care about something, you may as well not care about astronomy." Slacker Astronomy is a podcast created by Aaron Price, written and recorded by Pamela Gay and Travis Searle. It covers topics from The Bubba Gump Galaxy Co. to the 2006 AAS Newton Lacy Pierce Prize.

Space Place didn't make it higher on the list because it's often inactive between missions.
