Question: What Is The Solar System?
Answer: Solar means dealing with the sun, Sol. Our sun is just a star, the closest one to Planet Earth.

The Solar System is everything that centers around the sun. That includes eight planets as well as some smaller objects such as asteroids, comets and meteoroids. Previously, we had considered one of those smaller objects to be a ninth planet, but last year, the International Astronomical Union decided that Pluto is a Dwarf Planet.
