Space Shuttle Columbia Memorial
Celebrating The Lives of Heroes

It is always sad when someone dies, especially when it is someone you know or like. Working in outer space is a dangerous job, but it can be very helpful to us. We can learn a lot by doing scientific experiments in space.

The people who work in outer space know it is dangerous, but they do it anyway because they want to help.

When the space shuttle Columbia blew up on February 1, 2003, it was a sad day for many people. We want to remember the people who died and thank them for their bravery.
