Do you want to boldly go where no one has gone before?

So do I, but, unfortunately, that's not possible right now. So, in the meantime, I'm going to do the next best thing.

Creation Entertainment is holding its annual Official STAR TREK Convention 2007 Las Vegas next month, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

There is no doubt that the Star trek franchise has had a huge affect on the science community. Many researchers today will tell you they developed their sense of curiosity because of watching Star Trek. The Discovery Channel says, "'Star Trek' Behind Many Tech Advances". The History Channel says it even more plainly with their special, "How William Shatner Changed the World."

This concept is even in the world of fandom. While at the convention, I plan to attend the Future Science Programming Track, which features Planetary Scientist, Dr. David A. Williams; Rigel and Patrick Woida, members of the Mars Scout Phoenix Mission team and Dr. Ronald Held, a private researcher in faster than light travel.

For those who are more interested in the fictional aspect of the series and films, guests include William Shatner, Leonard Minoy, Avery Brooks, Kate Mulgrew and more than 50 others from both in front of and behind the camera. If you're interested in learning more, visit the website.
